Three robbers were killed while one escaped in an encounter in Quaidabad Karachi, a private TV reported on Tuesday.
Police said the dacoits were roaming in Ali Barohi Goth when police tried to intercept them.
The police killed three when they opened fire while one injured as a result of firing managed to flee the scene.
Police claimed that the robbers were wanted on accounts of target killing and several other crimes.
