Police arrested eight persons including key accused, Abdul Qadir, of Sohrab Goth armed clash.
Earlier on Saturday, an armed clash took place between two rival groups over a financial issue in Sohrob Goth area of the metropolis.
Five people were killed from both sides during hours long armed battle in presence of law enforcement agencies. SHO of Sohrab Goth Police Station, Sultan Maqsoon, was also injured during rival groups’ exchange of fire in the clash.
Relatives of the killed persons staged stern protest at Sohrab Goth and demanded an immediate arrest of the culprits while chanting loud slogans.
