Security barriers removed from outside hi-fi hotels

The enforcement department of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has removed obstructions and security barriers erected in front of five-star hotels of the capital.
The staff of the enforcement directorate, led by Deputy Director Muhammad Sanaullah, removed the blocks erected in front of Marriott Hotel, Serena Hotel and Islamabad Hotel and opened the road and footpaths for use by the general public.
These blocks were erected at the entrance points of these hotels in view of security concern.
The blocks created many hurdles for the general public as well as commuters and hampered the smooth flow of traffic.
The blocks have been removed for the convenience of the public with the cooperation and nod of the hotel administrations.
