Four additional PHC judges sworn in

Four additional judges of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) took oath on Friday raising the total number of judges to 13. PHC Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan administered the oath to four additional judges: Justice Asadullah Chamkni, Justice Rooh-ul-Ameen, Justice Akhwanzada Shahjhan and a female Justice Irshad Qaiser. With the induction of four more judges, the total number of judges has become 13, while only five of them are permanent judges. Besides performing duties in PHC, the judges will also frequently attending proceedings at the circuit benches of Dera Ismail Khan, Abbottabad and Dar Ul Qaza Swat.
