The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday sought reply from Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) with regards to decreased LPG price case. LHC Justice Ijazul Ahsan resumed hearing of petition filed by LPG distribution association against decrease in LPG price by OGRA. The court was informed that OGRA reduced the price of LPG without consultation from companies and now it was feared that shortage of LPG could be created in the country because the companies would not import the gas from foreign countries due to low price. LPG distribution association told the court that gas was not being imported from foreign counties for last five months and Pakistani companies were selling it by increasing its prices.
