PAKPATTAN – Water filtration plants will be installed at various places in Pakpattan. The federal, provincial and local governments have approved several projects of water treatment and filtration plants in Pakpattan and millions of rupees have been invested to provide clean drinking water to the masses, but a majority of the projects have been lying incomplete.
Buildings for these plants at the DHQ hospital and Mohallah Eidgah near Charagh Shah have been constructed but the plants have not so far been installed. The residents of Pakpattan have asked Pakpattan DCO Syed Haider Iqbal to probe the matter and order the departments concerned to complete these projects in the interest of the people.
