Punjab University Cricket Team on Monday defeated Gen Akhter Abdul Rehman Cricket club with a margin of 40 runs in a practice match held in connection with Muhammad Ali Shah 20/20 cricket tournament to be held on 5th of Ramazan in Karachi.
Ahmed Akram remained top scorer of the match by scoring 41 runs and took 2 wickets. With players of international level, a total of 16 teams are participating in the event while teams from Afghanistan, Saudi Arab and Hong Kong are also taking part. The final of the match is expected in the fourth week of Ramazan and all the matches will be broadcasted live on PTV Sports.
