PTI’s caravan to reach Waziristan by end of September: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has announced that a caravan of his party will go to Waziristan, a place engulfed by militancy and security operations, by the end of September to protest against US drone strikes.
Addressing a large number of people in a rally on Saturday, Khan said that innocent Pakistanis were being killed in drone attacks. He demanded of the government to disclose names of those had been killed in the US attacks.
Imran Khan said that representatives of human rights organizations and the members of media would also visit the violent torn Waziristan along with the PTI workers.
“We will take representatives of human rights organizations and the media with us. We will march for peace,” said Khan, adding that the party wants to show the government that ‘innocent people’ are being killed in the area.
He urged the government to pull out from the war against terror. Khan deplored that people pinned their hopes on the Awami National Party (ANP) but it also looted the country along with Asif Ali Zardari while blood of Pakthuns was also letting.
According to Khan, the party is holding protests to force the government to come out of the US war. “This is not our war, this is not Pakistan’s war,” Khan said as the participants started chanting the famous slogan of ‘those who are friends with the US are traitors’. Khan added that the government is fighting the war for dollars.
The party chief also called on President Asif Ali Zardari to “bring back his Rs1 billion from Switzerland”.
“If you try to destroy the Supreme Court to save your looted money, then the tsunami march will reach there as well,” Khan warned and went on to bash the newly elected Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf. “Raja Rental, end this loadshedding. This is because of your theft and ineligibility that people are suffering.”
Khan also targeted the major political party of the province, the Awami National Party (ANP). “We had high hopes from you, but you also became a pawn of Zardari and started looting along.”

  2. If Imran Khan can take the caravan to Waziristan he should contest elections there. He would sure win.

  3. China is not fighting US war and has terrorist on its soil that they fight against. Does that mean not fighting US is letting terrorists have they way in the country.

  4. Please Imran Khan protest against the atrocities of Talilban when you get to Waziristan. Imran knows very that a key condition to make peace with Taliban is the implementation of Strict Sharia Law. He let the nation know what is his bargain with the Taliban.

Now he is on the verge of turning the tide what no one else has done in this country after Jinnah. Bhutto did it but not before he was part of the process means remained cabinet member and used that as stepping stone to launch himself.
    But this man is amazing. For more than 15 years he has waited and waited patiently. He has not faltered his way in that long struggle, has kept his cool and composure, kept his focus, kept building up his strenght and team , has shown maturity of political thought and has finally arrived on the centre stage.
    What a person he is. Another Muhammad Ali JInnah in the making.

Imran Khan is only real Leader of Pakistan after Quaid-eAzam who emerged without the help of Army Dictator or any agencies. We hope Pakistan will emerge as a Soveign state in World soon under the Leadership of Imran Khan.
