AIOU announces BEd results

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the final result of B.Ed programme for the Semester Autumn, 2011 and placed the results on its website www.aiou.edu.pk.
AIOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi inaugurated the declaration of results by pressing the key of computer. On the occasion, he advised the workers to work hard and ensure the dispatching of these result cards to students within a week period. He underlined the need of making the entire examination system more efficient and transparent. Any complaint from the students in regard to dispatching of results cards or issuances of degree should be handled promptly, he stressed. He said they should attach high priority to students’ interest and comfort.
Controller of Exams Muhammad Bashir Chaudhry said that 106,000 were enrolled in BEd programme for the Semester Autumn, 2011. He said that exams were scheduled and held in different exam centres across the country. Result cards are being sent by post to all the students concerned at their given addresses. The students can also download their results from website www.aiou.edu.pk of the university.
