Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, chief of banned organization Jamaat-ud-Dawa, on Thursday filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) asking for an end to VVIP culture.
Saeed filed a petition in LHC asking the court to impose a ban on the luxurious lifestyles of the country’s leaders. He asked the court in the petition that President House, Prime Minister House and the houses of chief ministers should be abandoned and establish an education system that provided equal education to all citizens. He asked the court to remove all privileges of the rulers and to advise them to travel in public transport. He claimed that this would save the country from destruction.
