More rain expected from Friday

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasted on Wednesday that there are chances of another spell of moderate to heavy rains in the upper parts of the country from Friday.
Intermittent thundershower is expected in parts of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur divisions on Thursday.
Scattered thundershowers, with isolated heavy rainfall, are expected over upper and central Punjab from Friday to Monday. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), intermittent thundershower is expected in isolated places today (Thursday), while scattered thundershowers are expected in upper and central KP from Friday to Monday. The weather is expected to remain hot and dry in most parts of Baluchistan, with rain and dust storms are expected in the northeastern part of the province today.
In Sindh, hot and humid weather is expected, with minor rainfall and dust storms expected in the lower parts of the province. More rain is expected in isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan from Friday to Monday. Intermittent thundershower is likely in scattered places of Kashmir today. Yesterday highest temperature recorded in Dalbandin was 47 C. Maximum temperatures in other cities were Islamabad 40C, Lahore 39C, Quetta 37C, Karachi 36C, Peshawar 42C, Muzaffarabad 39C, Gilgit 40C, Murree 25C, Multan 43C and Faisalabad 40C.
