QUETTA – Balochistan Police Inspector General Malik Muhammad Iqbal has put two constables under termination for being guilty of kidnapping and raping a girl in Quetta. Police has taken constable Jahanzaib and Shahzaib into custody.
According to details, accused constables abducted a girl and later raped her. They also took nude photos of the victim besides threatening her of dire consequences if she told anybody about the incident. After being informed of the incident, the IG police ordered for the arrest of accused.
The clinical tests revealed that the victim had been raped and the constables too recorded their confessional statement. On the victim’s compliant, the IG terminated both constables and ordered further inquiry. IG police said that the process of accountability in police department will continue.
