Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that people should not get disappointed as revolutionary changes would be introduced soon to steer Pakistan out of crises.
He was addressing a luncheon hosted by Secretary General PML Mushahid Hussain Syed in honour of Adviser to Prime Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Ranjha here on Tuesday.
“Workers are the backbone of this party and PML would take every measure for their due rights.
The induction of Ranjha proves how workers are important to us. Now he (Ranjha) would establish his office in PML House to solve the problems of the people. I have asked him to formulate a six-month policy in this connection,” he added.
He said that duel nationality holders should be allowed to contest election with the condition that they cannot keep any government appointment until they leave their citizenship of another country. The matter is under consideration in the standing committee and PML would present its viewpoint there.
He said that the general election would be held in 2013 and PML wants to take part in it along with its all allies. The party would make seat adjustment with PPP. It should be a good weather for polls.
He said that the decision regarding the chief election commissioner with consensus is very heartening. N-League proposed the name and the government accepted it and now the attempt to take credit from some leaders of PML-N is shameful, he held.
He said that the matter about contempt of court is sub judice. He said that the issue of reopening of NATO supplies was taken be the alliance jointly.
It was not the matter with the US, but 50 countries were involved in it.
