Ambassador of Sweden in Pakistan Lars Hjalmar Wide Tuesday called on Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at CM House. On his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the chief minister. They discussed matters of mutual interest. The chief minister informed him about socio-economic aspects, geo-political situation and other facilities being provided to investors in Sindh province. The chief minister informed the Ambassador of Sweden that there are numerous opportunities of investments in Sindh province pertaining to coal energy, wind energy, solar energy, agriculture sector, fishing and other industrial projects. He apprised him about progress on Thar coal project and said that the energy problem of the country will be solved soon. The Ambassador of Sweden assured that intending investors of Sweden will be briefed about opportunities in Pakistan particularly available in the province of Sindh. Later, the Chief Minister Sindh presented traditional gifts of Sindhi Cap, Ajrak and Khais to him.
