5-member JIT formed to probe Arsalan-Riaz graft case

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Admiral (r) Fasih Bukhari has constituted a five-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe the alleged graft case involving Arsalan Iftikhar and real estate tycoon Malik Riaz. Per an official handout, the JIT would be headed by NAB’s director-general (DG) of the Financial Crimes Investigation Wing (FCIW). The committee also includes one member each from the federal investigation agency (FIA) and police, while three members are from NAB. The committee held its first meeting on Tuesday at NAB headquarters with DG FCIW in the chair. The committee has decided to procure all relevant material from the quarters concerned within a week to proceed ahead.
