LAHORE – Former information minister Muhammad Ali Durrani called on the Jamiat Ulema Pakistan (JUP) Secretary General Qari Zawar Bahadur in his office and asked to support the Bahawalpur’s movement as a separate province.
Zawar announced to support the movement for the establishment of further provinces in order to improve administrative matters and to facilitate people. He said that the restoration of Bahawalpur’s status as a province was a part of their manifesto.
He also supported the conference of political parties to strengthen the Bahawalpur province movement in the near future.
