Hajj scam: SC summons report from DG FIA

Supreme Court has summoned the investigation report on recent development in hajj corruption case from DG FIA.
A three-member bench headed by chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the hajj corruption case.
Former investigation officer Hussain Asghar didn’t even appear today despite court orders.
Secretary establishment said that Hussain Asghar was informed about the court orders and the inquiry should be launched against him if he doesn’t follow orders, adding that apparently he violated court orders.
He further told the bench that a summary regarding the action to be taken against Hussain Asghar was forwarded to prime minister on June 27.
Chief Justice remarked that absence of Hussain Asghar was affecting the case, adding that he is creating problems for himself by not complying with court orders.
He said that the entire service structure is being affected if Hussain Asghar does not show it would be your problem.
Meanwhile, the court sought the report over the development in the case from DG FIA on July 2 and adjourned the case till July 3.
