The police arrested a female proclaimed offender on Saturday for her involvement in dozens of crimes. According to SP Liaquat Ali, the Saddar police, during a raid in its jurisdiction arrested a wanted criminal identified as Mehwish Liaquat. The detainee was among the ten most wanted criminals in the province. She was wanted by various police stations in dozen of cases of robberies, purse snatching and other crimes.
Tippu Truckanwala case witness murdered: A man was shot dead by unknown assailants in the Tibbi police precincts on Saturday. According to police, a witness of the Tippu Trackanwala attack case, Mian Asif, was sitting outside his house when the assailants riding on a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire on him.
