Pakistan Post has taken various new strides by launching a variety of new special mail and financial services which are running in competition with private courier services.
To meet the present day requirement of postal customers, the new postal services are available at cheaper rates, high efficiency and covers the widest network, an official of Pakistan Post said.
“In order to further update the special mail services and offer a new package of facilities to bulk and corporate users, contractual pick-up and credit facilities have been provided for 20 key cities of the country,” he said. He added that the sub-contracting arrangements were being extended to Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Lahore to further improve the efficiency of services. He pointed out that an emergency pick-up facility is also available for registered customers.
