Traffic police registers 1805 challans in June

City Traffic police has registered 1805 challans and imposed Rs 449000 fine on traffic law violators during the month of June.
The traffic police impounded around 200 vehicles, including cars, mini van and motorcycle and arrested several drivers involved in traffic rules violations, including uncompleted documents, using tempered number plates, running vehicles without number plate.
Chief Traffic Police Officer Syed Ishtiaq Hussain Shah said that stern action was taken against the drivers using tented glasses as the government has already imposed ban on it.
He said that police registered challan against underage driving as mostly teenagers were involved in one wheeling, which was not only fatal for them but also for traffic.
He said that stern action would be taken against the drivers who are plying their vehicle without or incomplete documents.
