Bahria Town’s got nothing to do with Arsalan case: Ali Riaz

Bahria Town Chief Executive Ali Riaz has said in a written statement that Bahria Town had not signed any deal with Arsalan Iftikhar, son of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. He submitted his stance through his lawyer, Ali Zafar, in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. Ali Riaz said Bahria Town had nothing to do with Arsalan Iftikhar case, adding that Malik Riaz had resigned as the chief of Bahria Town. Ali Riaz took the position that he was made the chief executive of Bahria Town on July 25, 2008 and Malik Riaz did not own shares of the organization. He said the shares held by Malik Riaz were transferred to Beena Riaz on May 14, 2012.
