One of the victims of fire that broke out in the infant’s ward at the Services Hospital, died here on Tuesday.
Toll of the dead infants in this heartbreaking incident has mounted to ten now.
More than a dozen children were severely burnt in the fire and several are in critical condition.
DCO Lahore said the reason behind the fire was a short circuit; however he made this statement without a proper investigation into the incident.
Initial investigation report of the incident has not been sent to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif yet.
The incident occurred last Thursday.
Anywhere else in the world, this would be a headline.
But in our country, with our most devious leader Zardari & Gilani & corrupt officials running around openly, its so disturbing & sad to see this buried below the fold.
