Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company’s four-day grand event of Pakistan International Gems and Jewellery Exhibition (PIGJE-2012) successfully ended here on Sunday.
The four-day extravaganza was held from June 7 to 10 at a local hotel here; showcasing the best of Pakistan’s gems and jewellery products reflecting both traditional and contemporary class, said a press release here on Sunday. The event highlighted Pakistani gems and jewellery products in the most versatile manner where the international buyers were introduced to the potential Pakistani market. The gems and jewellery produced through latest technology and skills were exhibited there. Jewelers, gems dealers and manufacturers of sectoral machinery, tools, equipment and accessories are displaying their products at the Show.
The intricately crafted jewellery and precious/semi-precious gemstones found in Pakistan will ultimately reveal an entire new market to foreign buyers. The PIGJE-2012 international exhibition is focusing on providing a lucrative platform to the thriving gems and jewellery sector of the country.
The enabling environment has been created both for local and international traders to interact and promote business.
