Keeping in view the price of POL products in the international market, the government is likely to slash the prices of petrol and diesel. Sources said the prices of petrol and diesel are expected to be cut by Rs 9 and Rs 5 respectively. The government reviews the prices of petroleum products every fortnight. The sources said prices of high octane and kerosine oil are also likely to be decreased.
