Clerks threaten nationwide strike

The All Pakistan Clerks Association has threatened a nationwide protests and blockade of the Parliament House Islamabad, if the government did not meet the promises it made during the PAKA meeting.
APKA President Dost Mohammad Brohi, rejecting the 20 percent raise in the salaries said in a press release that the government is backing out of the promises it made with them. “If the promise were fulfilled we will be holding pen down strike in the country. The government promised to revise the pay-scale, house rent, conveyance and medical allowances,” he added.
The executive committee of APKA also asked the Punjab government to immediately approve the charter of demand of Punjab and take back the case filed against Population department.

  1. APCA leaders have failed to win a just and legal batlle against their own beauracracy. Perhaps they were convinced the same way as they are convinced in their offices “usually”
    teachers, judicial staff, minsterial staff, all the forces have seen more than 150% increases in their pay scales.
