On monday, the Supreme Court took suo moto notice of the Jirga’s decision against four girls in Kohistan.
During the hearing of Asghar Khan’s case, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry addressed the attorney general and told him about the Registrar’s notice regarding the Kohistan incident.
The Court has summoned girls and boys on Wednesday.
It may be recalled that the Jirga had allegedly ordered death sentence to four girls and two boys for dancing at a wedding party.
