APCA urges govt to fulfill their demands

All Pakistan Clerks Association urged the government to fulfill all demands which were approved in a meeting with the government officials held on May 16 last.
The demands were raised by APCA President Nazar Hussain Korai while addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Sunday.
He said that salaries of employees of all departments should be equal according to pay scale wise.
The APCA rejected the federal budget 2012-13 for not implementing the minutes by the government which were settled during negotiations with APCA leaders.
APCA president announced to launch protests, if the government did not accept their demands.
Lawyer-Forum PLF welcomes PPP step: The People’s Lawyer Forum (PLF) Punjab has lauded the PPP step for peacefully taking part in the Punjab budget and also termed it good for democracy.
Peoples Lawyer Forum Secretary Information Abdullah Malik, talking to APP on Sunday, said that the rumpus created by the PML-N during the federal budget did not leave a good impression on people.
He said their right to expression existed but there was a way to use it, adding that such tactics were not good. “The PPP is a mature political party and believes in upholding good norms,” he added.
“The decision will strengthen democracy and promote decency in and outside the House,” he added.
Dr Fareed Paracha welcomes PPP initiative: The Jamaat-i-Islami welcomed a decision of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to take part in the Punjab Assembly budget peacefully.
JI Deputy Secretary General Dr Fareed Ahmed Paracha talking to APP termed the Pakistan Peoples Party’s decision a positive move and a positive sign for healthy democratic traditions.
The PPP has announced taking part in the PA budget keeping in view the decorum of the assembly and ethical norms.
