Cancellation and delay of PIA flights continue to irk passengers

Passengers had to suffer through a prolonged delay of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights on Saturday. According to details, PIA flight PK-757 which had to leave for the London from Lahore at 09 10 am was delayed and flew instead at 4 pm after a seven-hour delay.
Meanwhile two PIA flights scheduled to fly to Islamabad, PK-652 and PK-656 were cancelled. They complained that the PIA staff neither provided them with accurate information regarding their flights nor were they provided any facility.
The PIA officials, when approached, were of the view that technical faults discovered in the planes were the main reason behind the delay and the cancellation of flights.
