A large number of Christians demonstrated in front of the RPO office on Friday against the land mafia allegedly controlled by Christian politicians of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The demonstrators alleged that Senator Kamran Micheal and MPA Khalil Sandhu of the PML-N were patronizing the land mafia across Punjab who had been illegally occupying Christian property.
Talking to Pakistan Today, Nasir Masih, a demonstrator said, “The land mafia led by Kamran Michael and Khalil Sindhu has illegally occupied our property and are now involving us in fake cases in a bid to silence us.”
He appealed to the Punjab chief minister to cancel their membership as they were earning a bad name for the party.
