The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday forecast very hot and dry weather for most parts of Punjab and Islamabad during the next 24 hours. However dust-thunderstorms and light rains are expected during the night in isolated locations in upper Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore and the Sargodha divisions. However, southern parts of Punjab and most parts of Sindh and Balochistan, will remain under the grip of severe heat wave conditions. Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next 24 hours. However dust-thunderstorms and light rains are expected in upper KPK, including Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar and Kohat divisions. In Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, mostly partly cloudy weather conditions are expected with chances of thunderstorms and light rains during the night.
