Summer vacations in Punjab from June 1

The Punjab government on Wednesday announced that all schools in the province would start the annual summer holidays from 1st June to 23 August.
A notification to this effect was issued by the Punjab Education Department, which said early summer vacations had been announced in all schools and colleges due to the unbearable intensity of heat.
However, the Private Schools Association refused to follow the notification and announced that they will close their schools from 16th June till 31st August.

Heat is increasing.students feel uneasy.we have no facility.vacation should announce from 24 may.

Due to the increase in intensity of heat and prolonged loadshedding hours,students must be relieved from 24th May,instead of 1st june.Students are getting severely affected by sunstroke and hot weather.
