A Rangers’ sub-inspector along with three other persons was killed while two more persons sustained serious injuries in different incidents of firing across the city, according to a private TV channel.
According to police sources, sub-inspector Abdul Hameed was shot in front of his house in Korangi while another man was also gunned down at Maripur Road.
In another similar incident, armed men opened fire near Lee Market killing one person and injuring another.
In yet another incident, Asad Hussain was also gunned down in Korangi. One person sustained injuries in a separate incident of firing in Korangi No. 4.
