Chairman Dengue Control Committee Nishtar Town, MNA Naseer Ahmed Bhutta on Tuesday asked the tyre shop owners to take precautionary measures as prescribed by the government to avoid dengue growth.
“Strict action will be taken against those running old tyre shops and not complying with government instructions,” he said.
He also said that in view of the dengue outbreak witnessed last year, the district administration was much conscious and adopting every possible measure to keep a check on dengue.
He said the old tyre shops were the breeding grounds for mosquitoes, considering which various teams had been formed to raid those shops.
