The city police on Tuesday arrested a drug pusher and 10 others, including eight women, for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
According to details, Sub Inspector Muhammad Ali from Crime Investigation Agency of Islamabad police apprehended Maqsood Ahmed and recovered 1.015kg heroin from him.
Sub Inspector Tariq Pervez from Shehzad Town police nabbed an accused Asif for having a 30-bore pistol while a women police team, headed by Sadaf Basharat, arrested nine persons, including eight women, near Jinnah Supermarket for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Muhammad Yousuf Malik has directed all police officials to accelerate efforts against antisocial elements.
