Exasperated with Pakistan’s refusal to act against Hafiz Saeed, Indian Home Secretary RK Singh has said India is even ready to pay Rs 560 million to Pakistan if Saeed is handed over to New Delhi, Indian media revealed on Sunday. Reports said Singh’s remark came at the conclusion of the two-day talks in Islamabad on Friday where the much-anticipated signing of the visa agreement between the two countries did not happen. Singh, however, said there was enough evidence provided by India against Saeed which added to the proof collected against Saeed by Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). He said it was adequate to arrest and prosecute Saeed for the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Asked if India would in that case pocket the Rs 560 million bounty offered by the US for providing evidence leading to conviction of Saeed, Singh said India would be more than happy to give Pakistan that amount if they handed over Saeed to India.

Its a pretty decent deal, except for the fact that once he gets to India, he might just be offered another 560 million to confess how the Pakistani military is involved in mess and that Pakistan is the reason behind every evil in the world. Fake evidence and then bring more bad name to the already international migraine.

Not a bad bargain for Rs. 560 Millions. We are already self sufficient with this commodity and already export it to Afghanistan, Chinese Kashgir, Indian Bombay and Kashmir. Post Z.A Bhutto Pakistan has made tremendous progress in this industry of hate, violence and fundamentalistic Islam.

Although our government too interested in encashing Hafiz Saeed with 10 Million US Dollar but after all, Hafiz Sahb is enriched with the power of faith on Allah (S.w.t) and secondly its not an easy task to handover him to India, he has thousands of Jaanesar on his back….
I dont know the full story on Hafiz Saeed and what his crimes are. But if he did initiate the killing in India & there is faith, may Allah not come to his aid as he deserves death.
If Saeed is handed over, more violence will erupt in Pakistan (my view). Its a crucial decision and should be handled with extreme care and seriousness keeping in mind the circumstances and after effects.
SC have also termed lal masque mullahs as innocent and lahore hight court freed maulvi ishaq….the only judge who gave judgemnat against mumtaz Qasri ran away to Saudi Arabia…So expecting justice from pakistani courts is like living in fool's paradice.

handing over Pakistani citizens to foreign countries for funds ? Seems like we Pakistanis have learnt nothing from what Mush did in the last decade. We wont just lose a "mullah" , well lose the respect of the world and any and every Pakistani will be fair game as far as it comes to extradition to enemy states. Btw , wasnt it 'inncoent till proven guilty '? I believe Prof. Hafiz Saeed has been tried and cleared by a court of law already.
It is shameful that Hafiz Saeed is holding public rallies. He should have been tried and sent to prison for life for the crimes he is alleged to have committed.
