AIOU MS/MPhil, PhD admissions from June 1

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will start MS/MPhil and PhD admissions for the Semester Autumn 2012 from June 1.
Director Admissions AIOU Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain said that the admissions of Ph.D Programme (on M.Phil basis) would be offered in Urdu, Islamic Studies, Iqbal Studies, Chemistry, Physics and Pakistani Languages and Literature (with specialization in Pushto/Balochi/Brahui/Sindhi/Saraiki/or Punjabi language).
The admissions of M.Phil Programme are being offered in Mass Communication, Islamic Studies, Iqbal Studies, Chemistry and Arabic. Chemistry programme is offered in Islamabad only and the admissions of MS would be offered in Community Health and Nutrition. Admission forms and prospectuses would be available from the June 1 at the sale point of University’s main campus and its countrywide regional campuses / coordinating offices.
The last date for submission of the admission form would be June 29. Only those students are eligible for admission who have already cleared NTS GAT (General for Ms/MPhil and NTS GAT (Subject) for PhD. NTS GAT (General/Subject) results are valid for two years.

  1. asa,i had some family crises due to which i couldnt check admission date on net..can i apply now for MPhil with late fgees,more over,i have done M.A english from punjab university and M.ED from BNU,in which subject should i go for Mphil..do you provide MPhil in ENglish or Education Leadership Management ( ELM)///plz help

  2. assalam o alaikum..i have sent my admission form to the islamabad campus ..may i please know if the test and interview dates are the same as mentioned in the prospectus
