The National Book Foundation (NBF) has published the second and revised edition of `Radio Journalism’ written by veteran broadcaster and journalist Mahmood Hussain to meet the demand in the field of Mass Communication.
As the first edition, also published by the NBF, exhausted in the market, there was huge demand for the book especially from the students of Mass Communication and those who have adopted radio journalism as a profession. The book is especially useful for the graduation and post graduation level students of Mass Communication and also for on-job training courses and workshops in broadcasting institutions, says a press release. Authored by Mahmood Hussain, a veteran broadcaster, trainer and journalist, the book is an addition to a very small number of books written on broadcast journalism in Pakistan.
The book, spread over 382 pages, will prove equally beneficial for those offering Mass Communication in the competitive examination and also for those who desire to know about the working of the news organization of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) and private sector channels.
