Police on Friday arrested the parents of ten-year-old Sobia who was found dumped Thursday on a roadside with severe torture marks on her body.
According to City Police Officer Kamran Yousuf, the arrested parents include Lashkar Khan and his wife, step mother of Sobia on charges of torturing their daughter.
The two parents were arrested from Banglabad in Gakhar Mandi.
The DPO visited civil hospital for inquiring health of Sobia and directed the hospital staff to provide best possible health facilities to minor girl.
