The Islamabad Police has decided to reopen the Supreme Court attack case and notices have been issued to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif and his brother Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to appear before the investigation officer, Geo News reported on Friday. The channel’s sources said the investigation was initiated on the directions of the Ministry of Interior and Senior Superintendent of Police Malik Yousaf had been appointed the enquiry officer. However, no dates have been mentioned in the notices, the channel said.
Earlier, a local English daily had reported that Malik Yousaf had cautioned Interior Minister Rehman Malik against instituting cases against the two political heavyweights, saying this could prove counterproductive as the Sharif brothers would term it political victimization. The newspaper reported that after influencing the appointment of DIG Bani Amin Khan as the Inspector General of Police Islamabad, the interior minister had asked him to investigate the Sharif brothers in connection with the SC attack. However, the IGP regretted, saying he was left with only 18 months in service and did not want to get involved in any controversy. About two years back, the interior minister had also issued directives to the then IGP Syed Kaleem Imam but he also refused to get himself involved in the case.
sir BE A TRUE LION AND DECLARE YOUR TRUE ASSETS ON TV LIKE IMRAN KHAN WE KNOW YOU WILL NOT BECAUSE YOU ARE CORRUPT
Nawaz Sharif is a true lion mounted and befriended by a wild donkey telling him the same thing i.e. Sir, be a loin.
That made me laugh… loin…
We've been hearing about this "long march" for so many days now. When will they start marching? I think pml and SC are just palying games with us. Elections are just around the corner anyway. I think they are just waiting untill the last minutes before that take any action so they can make the ppp govt. happy and also be able to say that they took action against the govt. Kill two birds with one stone.
A true leader. The rest agents.
Yes a true leader of corruption…
You r correct 110%
NawazSharif is the most orrupt politician in the history of this country. Now, that his corruption scandals are being investigated, his supporters have started feeling pain. Accountability shud be equal, and shud apply not only to PPP but PMLN as well. Why Nawaz supporters r crying now? Is Nawaz Corruption is good for Pakistan. Investigate corruption cases of PPP but not of PMLN : this seems to be the slogan of PMLN.
Recklesss, read my post first. Don't make me humiliate you again 🙂
Money laundering, attack on supreme court when he was PM,hijacking Mush plane, took money from Osama the terror god,all are just blames…lol,Nawaz is a criminal and should be tried and hanged with his brother shabaz. The biggest mistake Gen Musharaff made was to allow them to leave pakistan,Gen Mush had a very good chance to kill Nawaz and his family, mullahs, all corrupt politicians and declare Pakistan a secular state.
unclesargam malik will have his ass blacken in this case.
Better late than never, though, justice delayed is justice denied. Lion of the Punjab has also to answer many unanswered questions including money laundering, non payment of bank loans and on top of every other charge is the one of attack on the building of Apex court.
and also Shahid Orakzai murder case
Another acquittal is in the offing; as long as the present CJP is in chair, the shareefs have nothing to worry about. This could well be a stage managed reopening to ensure acquittal. Cleaning the slate, is it?
I THINK WE AS PAKISTANIS RUNNING LIKE HEADLESS CHICKENS THE ONLY SOLUTION IS THAT NAWAZ DECLARES HIS TRUE ASSETS ON NATL TV LIKE IK FORGET ALL THESE CASES THEY ARE ALL TOPY DRAMA BY BOTH OR ALL CORRUPT PARTIES (NOT INCLUDING PTI). ONCE ASSETS ARE TRUE DECLARED BY NAWAZ THERE IS NO NEED FOR COURTS HE WILL RUN AWAY TO LONDON/JEDDAH/DUBAI
The solution for Pakistan is that both PPP and PML should be banned from standing in elections because they are both corrupt and evil. They are as bad as each other.
Brother Mohammod I am 100% agree with u,super like to your comment
