Pakistan will test fire its new missile “Nasr” by the end of this month and most likely on May 28. The missile with 180 Kilometres range has high degree of accuracy.
According to sources, Pakistan army has completed all its preparation to test fire the nuclear-capable, surface-to-surface ballistic missile “Nasr” on May 28 Monday. The name “Nasr” is an Arabic word meaning “Victory”.
‘Nasr can carry nuclear warheads and can hit the target with high accuracy, it is learnt.
“The missile has been developed to add deterrence to Pakistan’s strategic weapons development programme”.
Good Job. But every other country names their own indiginously developed products in their own local language. Why almost all the Missiles, and other military equipment made in Pakistan are named in Arabic or after foreigners. Don't we have any famous people that we can honor. Are they planning to sell these to the Arabs. So far, nothing has been sold to the Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc..
Forexample, Al-Khalid Tank, Al-Zarrar Upgraded Tank, Talha, Mehfooz, etc. Personnel Carrier. Ghauri, Ghaznavi, all of them were not native people of Pakistan. If these missiles were developed locally, they should atleast honor the scientists, developers, etc. But we always think "Foreigners" need to be honered more than local scientists. These all the equipment, if named, even after Local Famous Cities, regions, Landmarks would have been better. Like, Peshawar, Lahore, Pindi, Guranwala, Hyderabad, Quetta, etc. Or Aag for Missile. Umeed (Hope) for Sattelites, like Iran's Safeer-e-Umeed (Ambassador of Hope), Sattelite.
There should be some reason. Almost all the other countries, name their own developed countries after their own legends, and use local names. India's Prithvi, Akash, Agni, Missiles, etc.

Arabic is an Islamic language its for all muslims why all jews learn Hebrew ( ask them) naming inventory on islamic name is not a new thing Iran name stuff on islamic names also indian gave important to all above things and considers them sacred so they name them its their choice.

iran has named one of its missile Kosar( inspired from Surah Kosar) taht is an arabic name, another is named Nasr, it is cruise missile, that too is arabic.
