India has reiterated that Hafiz Saeed was the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai attacks and that New Delhi would raise the issue during the upcoming foreign secretary-level talks between Pakistan and India. Indian Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai told reporters on Thursday that “we will take up the issue of Hafiz Saeed in bilateral talks”. The secretary said the issue of other criminals being holed up in Pakistan would also be raised in the talks.
