Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley and the Zac Brown Band are the first performers announced to play the 2012 CMT Music Awards. Underwood also leads this year’s nominations with five nods, followed by Miranda Lambert with four. Several artists earned three nominations: Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Thompson Square and The Civil Wars. The 11th annual awards show will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 6.
