Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Thursday said he had proof against the Sharif brothers for their money laundering and it would be presented in a court of law. Hitting hard on the Sharif brothers, the interior minister said they were using tactics and lies to hide their own corruption but the proof of their corruption would be produced in court. He said, “We have not spared anyone who has been involved in corruption.” In response to a question, he accused the PML-N of having links with terrorists and said they should stick with them. Malik said several ministers of the PML-N had taken oath from Pervez Musharraf and worked under a dictator. “The public is aware of the doings of the Sharif brothers,” he said. Malik said allegations of him holding dual nationality were incorrect, as he had surrendered his British nationality on March 25, 2005. He said he was ready to face the courts.

  1. What has taken him so long? Did he just found out or had he known it for a while? How long? I would call it incompetence.

  2. Those who have been in the government are both complicit as well as complacent. They need to face charges brought against them for sitting on it. But who would do it? These individuals will not.
