The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former Supreme Court Bar Association President, Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Thursday said some mistakes in detailed verdict issued by the Supreme Court (SC) against Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani in contempt of court case exist because it is not in accordance with the context of the case.
Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House here, he said that he would submit appeal against the SC verdict against the PM in the court within the given time.
He said those people who were the members of a military dictator’s cabinet were giving views on the SC verdict against the PM. “Now they consider themselves as pastors,” he said.
He said today Sheikh Rashid, who was supporting military dictator Pervez Musharraf for electing him as president in uniform, was giving opinions on the verdict.

  1. Aitzaz you have a perverted mind and brain. This is also a mistake that you and Gilani exist on face of this earth . We would not have this problem if you and Glliani and Zaradri take permanent leave fro this world.

  2. aitzaz is 100% correct. There are mistakes that exist in SC detailed verdict. One is that they did not give him the death penalty. Second is that they did not specify that it has to be done in three days 🙂

    • People elect Parliament and Parliament elects Prime Minister. Courts have no business to make or break governments. Supreme Court should refrain from opposing will of the people. Supreme Court is only supreme amongst various tiers of judiciary. As far as government is concerned, only the people of Pakistan have the right to elect their Prime Minister through their elected representatives. Constitution does not allow adventurism by Army nor by Judiciary. Down with Chaudhry Court!!!
