The principal of the government-run National College Karachi (NCK) was tortured by students for not allowing the cheating mafia use unfair means during intermediate exams being held at the college. Reports said a few students backed by a political group wanted to cheat during the examination and quarreled with the principal when he prohibited them from doing so. “After attempting the exam, at least ten of them barged into my room, slapped and punched me, dragged me out and tore my cloths,” the principal told reporters. TV channels aired footages of principal’s office ransacked by the rowdy students.
