Bohra community’s welfare work lauded

Ambassador to United Arab Emirates Jamil Ahmed Khan on Wednesday appreciated the role of Bohra community in the welfare of mankind based on well-founded principles and religious beliefs.
Addressing a gathering of Bohra community at the Bohri mosque in Dubai, the ambassador said under the dynamic leadership of Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin, the community was hugely involved in welfare projects. The ambassador said the communities in the present phase of human history, have become a vital factor in settling the disputes among the nations, according to a press release by Pakistan embassy in Dubai. He said the first Bohra leader Syedna Tahir Burhanuddin who was born in India in 1915, played a pivotal role of serving the humanity. He said Bohra community had become a galvanizing factor in advancing cordial relations between India and Pakistan. He said Pakistan would welcome Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin in playing his role to bring India and Pakistan closer so that people of the two countries could benefit economically, socially and culturally.
