Government spokesman denies large delegation accompanying PM to UK

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani left for the UK on a bilateral visit to participate in the Enhanced Strategic Dialogue with the British leadership.
The Government Spokesman refuted reports appearing in a section of the media that a very large delegation accompanying the Prime Minister on his visit to the United Kingdom. He has termed these reports contrary to the facts to mislead the public.
The Spokesman has clarified that only 12 members entourage is accompanying the PM which includes Senator Rehman Malik, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Hina Rabbani Khar (already in UK), Senator Abbas Khan Afridi, Shahnaz Wazir Ali, Raza Hayat Hiraj, Aftab Shaban Mirani, Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur, Dr.Mehreen Razque Bhutto, Ghulam Mustafa Shah and Palwasha Muhammad Zai Khan.
The Spokesman said they will assist the PM and represent the country during the course of Enhanced Strategic Dialogue with their British counterparts encompassing the five areas of the trade and business relations: financial and development cooperation, education and health, defense, security and cultural cooperation the spokesman added.
The Spokesman further said that besides the above twelve ministers and parliamentarians the other members of the delegation are government officials, media representatives and security staff.

  1. Shame on that part of media, who has been reporting the large delegation, with estimations of huge sums allocated.

    This also shows the degree of importance PM gives to Nawaz League’s compaign, already in tatters.

  2. Why are they coming to UK. These guys have no credibility especially when the guy leading the pack is proven criminal. UK Government is smart enough to understand that. They are only here to enjoy five star hotels with blonde waitresses.

  3. Media shouldnt be ashamed of telling the truth, This What the actual count is … and for us "the Pakistanis" Yousuf Raza Gillani is no more a PM. so this is better no one call him as a PM but yes we can all call him a PEON as he deserve this post
