The Pakistan Sunni Tehrik staged a protest demonstration against the Holy Quran desecration outside the Lahore Press Club on Sunday.
A large number of workers participated in the protest, led by Mujahid Abdul Rasool. The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the US and Israel. They also burnt an effigy of the US pastor. The protesters demanded the government call back Pakistani diplomats from the US and the US ambassador should be sent back.
