Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, who is facing severe criticism by the opposition parties and their members in the Parliament after his conviction in contempt of court case, will lead a 70-member delegation for a 5-day visit to the United Kingdom. The visit, which was decided during the visit British Prime Minister David Cameron, will begin on May 8.
According to reports, Mr Gilani has no scheduled meeting with any significant British personality except a meeting with the British counterpart for an hour during the five day visit which would cost Pakistan millions of rupees. For most of the time, the prime minister would be delivering speeches at private gathering of Pakistani communities, including a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) public meeting in Birmingham.
According to sources, the UK government will bear expenses of only six members of the delegation out of 70 and the rest would be borne by the government of Pakistan. The sources further said that the delegation includes some who would just be enjoying the trip.
On the other hand, voices have come out of the British Parliament questioning the visit of a convicted prime minister. Mr Gilani is also likely to face tough questions by the British and International media. A strong team of media persons of the liking of the prime minister has also been chosen which would reach London ahead of Mr Gilani.

The whole Gillani clan is the guest of our Islamic Republic but what surprises me as a British tax-payer how the British Government can afford to promote such corrupt practices and that too on account of British support and in fact its largesse of tax-payers.
David Cameron must answer this question in House of Commons this week.

The sad part is that the opposition has not raised this issue in the National parliament. I presume they are of the same breed to rob the country when they take charge of the country in the future…Europe is committing itself to austerity in these dire economic conditions yet a bankrupt nation is not bothered… Mrs Gilani next time you will be going to UK the board and lodging will not be free but you will have plenty of your ill gotten gains to shop at Harrods and Selfridges. Our illustrious convicted Prime Minister is going to open a new path within the democratic system. He is going to show the world that Parliament is supreme, the will of people even more. The courts are merely an institution for interpretation of law, the final act of implementing the judgement lying with the elected representatives, the ones with the will. The elected honorable speaker of the illustrious assembly, by default becomes— Field Marshal Chief Jutice of Pakistan.
Pakistan is a land of people thrown out of frying pan into fire: outtta clutches of hinduism into clutches of feudalism. These dirty feudals dont give damn to country .they only know how to thrive on the blood of people on name of democracy or feudalcracy?
