Punjab government spokesman Senator Pervez Rashid said on Thursday that Interior Minister Rehman Malik was lying when he said the provincial government is being run on a stay order Reacting over Malik’s statement, he said the stay order was set aside by the court. He warned the minister to withdraw his statement otherwise the Punjab government would announce a Rehman Malik Liar Award that will be awarded to the person who tells the most lies as well as to the best liar of the year. Earlier in the day, Malik had called Shahbaz Sharif the ‘king of liars’.
